Yes. Bambaw bottles use high-quality PPG powder coating that is free from BPS and endocrine disruptors.
It meets strict EU safety standards and is suitable for everyday use.
We use a powder coating process. A dry PPG powder is electrostatically applied to the bottle, ensuring even, full coverage. It is then heat-cured to form a smooth, durable, chip-resistant finish.
This method is cleaner for the environment and safer for you, as it emits negligible volatile organic compounds (VOCs), requires no water and generates significantly less hazardous waste than traditional liquid paints.
Our stainless steel bottles come in two finishes: natural steel (uncoated) and colour-coated.
Natural steel bottles are completely dishwasher proof, you can place the bottle in the dishwasher without any issues.
Colour-coated bottles are dishwasher safe, however prolonged dishwasher exposure may fade or wear the colour coating over time.
For best results and longest lifespan across both types, we recommend handwashing with warm water and a soft bottle brush, preserves the coating on coloured bottles. Full care instructions, including temperature guidelines and drying tips, are included in the digital user manual.
The lid for both types of bottle has bamboo, so it is not suitable for dishwashers and it’s hand-wash only.

Insulated bottles keep your drink at the same temperature for longer. If you pour in boiling liquid, it will stay very hot for hours.
For a comfortable sip, let your drink cool slightly before closing the lid or add a splash of cold water.
No. High-quality stainless steel, like Bambaw’s 304 food-grade steel, is naturally tasteless and odourless.
If you notice a slight taste at first, it’s usually temporary and easy to fix. It can happen with any new bottle and doesn’t affect safety.
What to do:
Give your bottle a thorough wash before first use. Use warm water, dish soap or baking soda, and a bottle brush to clean the interior. Rinse well.
If a slight taste still lingers, it will fade completely after the first few uses and regular washing.
Bambaw’s insulated water bottles feature double-wall vacuum insulation, keeping drinks hot for 12 hours and cold for 24 hours.
Our non-insulated water bottles, on the other hand, have a single-wall design. This makes them lighter and easier to carry, but they do not retain temperature.
